On 3 December 2025, UKDTN convened the UK Industry Liaison Forum at CTAD 2025 in San Diego, bringing together global charities, international academic experts, and industry partners from over 20 pharma and biotech companies worldwide. This forum showcased the UK’s united commitment to accelerating the development of new dementia therapies, with a strong emphasis on improving diversity and equity in clinical trials. The discussions reaffirmed the strengths that position the UK as a trusted global partner, including robust clinical and scientific expertise, a deep understanding of industry needs, and a proven track record of trial delivery, made possible through close collaboration with NIHR, delivery partners, and the wider dementia research community.
