On 3 December 2025, UKDTN convened the UK Industry Liaison Forum at CTAD 2025 in San Diego, bringing together global charities, international academic experts, and industry partners from over 20 pharma and biotech companies worldwide.

Over the past year, the UKDTN Coordinating Centre has grown exponentially, expanding to a dedicated team of 10 members to support the continued growth and delivery of the network.

At AAIC 2025, UKDTN hosted a roundtable on improving diversity in dementia trials, generating actionable insights now being developed into a white paper, with further international engagement planned at CTAD 2025.  

A joint UKDTN and Alzheimer’s Society survey of 1,200 patients and carers revealed strong interest in research but low participation, with findings to inform future UKDTN priorities and improve participant experience.    

UKDTN has awarded its first five fellowships across the UK, with outstanding applications highlighting strong potential for future clinical trial leaders.
